Consultations That Listen

This consultation can also be a standalone session, offering an opportunity to ask design questions, resolve a design dilemma, or learn what your renovation or build options may be.

FULL SERVICE DESIGN
Whether you are renovating an existing home, building a new house, updating your office, or opening a retail storefront, my extensive interior design service will help you achieve a thoughtful, sophisticated, and personal environment. My design process is tailored to capture your needs and desires wherever you live, work, or play.
Initial Consultation
The initial consultation is an opportunity for us to discuss your thoughts and ideas about what you would like to achieve in your project. We will discuss budget, timeline, design options, and begin to build the foundation of your upcoming project. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know one another, and determine how we are going to make your dream a reality.
Contract
With a preliminary scope of work and budget in hand, I create a customized Fee Schedule and Scope of Work. Once these documents are approved, the Letter of Agreement is signed, and a retainer is provided, we begin the planning phase for your project.
Planning Phase
At the beginning of the planning phase, we will meet again to discuss your project in depth. If construction is involved, we will meet with trades and contractors to firm up the possibilities. We will create floor plans, elevations, millwork, and lighting plans. We’ll source finishes, fixtures, and furnishings for your home and present you with the new vision during the Design Presentation.
Design Presentation
Once the planning phase is completed, I will present you with the reimagined space illustrated with floor plans, elevations, drawings, images, materials, and finish samples. Large projects may require multiple presentations. If there are components that require revision, I will source alternatives to ensure you are completely happy with the design plan.
Implementation
Once the design drawings are approved and signed, I will create a set of construction documents and specification sheets for the contractor and their team. All details will be included. As the designer it is my responsibility to ensure that all of the materials, fixtures, and finishes have been ordered and are being properly coordinated with the General Contractor and their team. Regular site visits and proper communication with the contractor and trades people will ensure that the project is completed in a timely manner.
The Finishing Touches
After construction is complete, fixtures and furnishing are installed. I will source and bring accessories, artwork and finishing touches to your home to complete the transformation. We will ask you to allow us a day to photograph your home for our portfolio.
